A few ELA updates:
- We will be using Big Blue Button as a way to have live video meetings again! The Big Blue Button meetings for ELA will be at 4pm on Mondays and Thursdays. This means we will be using iLearn, but ONLY for these video meetings. All of our assignments and announcements will still be o Google Classroom. Please see Google Classroom for detailed directions about how to join our class on Big Blue Button.
- We are posting an optional assignment on Google Classroom today. It is called 6A ELA Virtual Check In. To participate in this assignment, students will add a slide onto a slideshow that we have posted. On their slide, students can share their thinking about being quarantine and updates about how they have been keeping busy at home. This assignment is meant to be a way for us to share what we are feeling and doing during this time away from school. It is completely OPTIONAL. If completed, the student will earn extra credit on their lowest grade in Language Arts. It is not required- but we hope you all participate!
- City of Ember Week 5 is due on Sunday, May 17!
