Happy Monday! Today we continued to work on our current skills of theme, central idea, and writing strong CER paragraphs. Students wrote and labelled the parts of an effective theme analysis paragraph with two pieces of evidence in their notebooks and spent time working on their weekly ReadTheory. We also began working on our new root word- poly (poly means many).

Our next quiz is this Friday! This quiz will cover theme and central idea. Students will be asked to write a CERER paragraph for their short answer. Feel free to come to us with any questions.
