HELLO!!!!!

Hello Everyone!!!!  Well I thought we might be on our way to Spring but maybe I am wrong??!!!  Please come soon!

On Friday April 13, 2018 our Science Fair Projects were sent home with the Science board.  The students should have started or will start the project this week.  This is just an introductory project to the Science Process.  Please have fun doing it and enjoy watching and making observations with the gummy worms. We did this project in the class last week so the students should know what we looked at and how we made the observations. Projects are to be turned in on Monday April 23, 2018.  Please return the completed project and science board.  If you have any questions, please ask and I will try my best to help.  The students will present their boards and findings to the class and then the projects will be on display at the Science Fair Boot Camp on Thursday April 26, 2018.

HELLO!!!

Hello Everyone!  I hope everyone had a nice Spring Break and for those who celebrated Easter a nice holiday.

On Saturday April 14, 2018 is the Martian Marathon.  Mr. Murua informed me today that the students who have signed up for the race will receive their race packets on Thursday.

This week we will be learning how to perform simple addition.  This is always so exciting for me to watch because they seem all grown up when working on the learning games with me.

Also, we will be learning about the letter and sound Kk Keelie Kangaroo.  We will be continuing with the helping friend Ii and making new short i words.   Our new word this week will be “here”.

One area where we could use some extra practice is coloring pictures with details and also creating a sentence/story with listening and recording beginning sounds.

Thank you to Mrs. Harajly (Robbie H. Mother) for making the Easter Egg hunt.  She did a great job and I truly appreciate all the fun you created and your generosity.  I know for the sure the students had fun too.  Too bad we had horrible rainy weather and the hunt was inside.

Have a good week everyone!
