There is a Buffalo Wild Wings Fundraiser for our 8th grade class on Monday 4/15.

There is no school on Friday April 19th, 2019.

This week in Science:

We will focus on specific vocabulary words as we discuss them on Lecture Days and bellwork review.
Please remember to review the objectives and vocabulary words introduced last week. I encourage students to create Frayer Models or vocabulary flashcards for the following:
- Dominant trait, recessive trait, allele, genotype, phenotype, homozygous, heterozygous
We will review the words above while students participate in
- Punnett square activity using foam dice
- Punnett Square lab sheet
- Task Card review game
Lastly, I plan to begin our second part of this unit which relates to differences between sexual and asexual reproduction and the advantages/disadvantages between both.
