Strengthen Your Core:

Get up and moving with these 6 fun core strengthening ideas:

  • Army crawl: Lie on your tummy and use you elbows and knees to crawl forward
  • Get on your knees!: Try crossing the room on just your knees
  • Don’t drop the egg: Place a small ball, pom pom, or hard boiled egg on a spoon. Walk forward. Walk back ward. Try walking on your knees. DON’T DROP THE ITEM!
  • Superman rescue: Pretend you are flying like superman by lying on your tummy. Keep you arm and legs out!
  • Puppy walk: Get on your hands and feet. Walk like a puppy across the room.
  • Over and under: Pull out chairs and pillow cushions. Step over the cushion and crawl under the chair. Repeat!
