Students are allowed to bring in Valentine’s to pass to the class. We have 27 students in our class. We will attending the PTA Valentine’s shop on Wednesday. Students can bring money to buy gifts at the shop.
We are attending an Art field trip on February 15th. Please make sure to send in the permission slip. This is a free field trip that everyone should attend. Please pack a lunch (no glass). Please bring in your shoe box to take on the field trip.

I have assigned Khan Academy to each student. This is an awesome tool to advance Math and Grammar skills.
Social Studies: Road to the Revolution. We are studying all the events leading up to the American Revolution.
Math: Multiply Decimals.
Writing: Opinion Writing. We will review how to write an opinion paper.
Science: Solar System
Reading: Strategy Groups/Reading Response Daily
Spelling:
Everyone is responsible for Definitions and Sentences for Spelling words. This will count as the 30 Menu.
