Bellwork reviewed solving equations for a variable, writing a variable expression for perimeter, and solving a real-life problem involving distance, rate, and time.

Hwk #1 is due today.

After the bellwork students practiced solving a problem with multiple fractions and solving an equation for one of it’s variables.  We then reviewed the family of Polynomial Functions that was discussed last week.  This will then lead into investigating other basic functions that will be studied throughout the year.  This discussion will be continued tomorrow.

Hwk #2:

  • Page 22, Problems 34, 38, 40, 42, 43, 47
  • Page 29, Problems 6, 12, 13
