Hours 1 -3:

Bellwork gave students practice with recursive and explicit formulas of sequences.

Hwk #29 is due today.

The remainder of the period we finished discussing Sec 11-1 Sequences and their Recursive and Explicit Formulas.  We then began discussing Sec 11-2, Arithmetic Sequences.

6th Hour:

Bellwork gave students practice finding a pattern to a sequence in order to determine the next three terms.

The remainder of the period we discussed Sec 11-1.  Students were shown to use Recursive and Explicit Formulae to write the terms of a sequence as well as take a given sequence and write the Recursive and Explicit Formulae.

Hwk #29 is due tomorrow.  Sec 11-1.
