 *** MAKE SURE TO FILL IN READING MINUTES ON NEW READING LOG (taped to folder for Monday-Friday)—MAKE SURE SIGNED by student and parent— I will collect COMPLETED LOGS on Mondays to enter into the raffle to win prizes for MARCH IS READING MONTH!**I will collect completed logs Monday!!!

3.READING GROUP BAG—> read NEW book 3 times remembering to point to each word as you read AND extend to asking questions such as: “Find a sight word on this page. Point to word that starts with the /s/ sound. ETC.”  Please keep alphabet linking chart and on back NEW consonants blends and digraphs in their bag– this is to help with reading and writing during reading groups and can be practiced at home as part of 15 minutes of reading each night!

4. Math Module 4 NEW homework workbook-lesson 10, helper on page 39 and homework page 41.

5. Spelling Notebook

  • Friday- Sunday: Practice!
    • Practice reading and writing your new words for next week!
  • 1 dictated sentence (write sentence teacher says aloud) and 1 sentence of their own (with a spelling word in it).  *BONUS* will only be given if they have all parts of a sentence from our checklist— Capital letter at the beginning, written neatly on the lines—sight words spelled correctly, finger spaces between words, AND punctuation at the end of the sentence (. ? !).
