Good morning everyone,

Today is a big day in which we truly begin our journey into our world history curriculum. We begin the year with Chapter 5 which covers Classical Greece. Please make sure to study a few of our vocabulary terms each day, this way when we take our vocab quizzes you will be prepared and feel confident. Tomorrow we will start our notes for Chapter 5 but for today here’s what we did. 

Tuesday-9/09/14:

o   Bell Work-1. What event caused the beginning of the Trojan War? 2. For how long was writing absent during the Dorian Age? 3. What human qualities did the Greeks attribute to their Gods?   

o   Attendance- While Class is Doing Bell Work

  • SWD analysis of key terms associated with the unit covering Chapter 5 by manipulating of vocabulary terms in a collaborative activity

o   Language Objective:

  • Students will read and orally match up important vocabulary terms pertaining to the unit covering Chapter 5 through the use of  a vocabulary match-up activity
