12/17/18

Tuesday: Sports Day/Oakman Gear (Favorite jersey, Oakman shirt)
The purpose of spirit week is to get students to donate a $1 a day to be able to send to the kids in Yemen.

Math:
4th Zearn and Exact Path 30 minutes total
5th lesson 5 homework pages 99-102 and zearn 15 minutes

Science and Social Studies:
Moby Max for each subject 15 minutes
5th has google classroom videos and summary due tomorrow for Social studies

Read:
20 minutes and write in your journal
Also, reread the story pages 22-25 on Stanley. Use post-its to identify words they are unfamiliar too.
5th need to identify at least 5 words and 4th have to identify 8 words, Please define the meaning of the word.

Spelling:
4th Activity 1 on iLearn
5th have ABC order with colors

Tomorrow we have Music and Library

Practice for Mathothon for 30 minutes because we have test tomorrow online.

Science:
Do the flip chart on the 4 spheres by watching the videos on google classroom.
Define, give examples and draw a picture in the front under each word.

Social Studies:
5th shared slides
4th read pages 35-40 from social studies book

Spelling:
Took test in class

Reading:
Read for 30 minutes and write in journals to reflect.

Remember to turn in field trip slip with $4 and parents are to pay.

We wrote in class who they look up to and why they are thankfulto that person.

4th grade Homework is lesson 6 in succeed.

Science:
Brain Activities
4th has 3-2-1 activity to do while watching the video again on energy
5th has flip chart to write the stages of matter and give an example for each plus the activities.

Social Studies:
Read the article on the 3 branches of government.

Reading:
Read for 30 minutes.

 

Spelling test is tomorrow, so make sure all activities are complete. Spelling words are on iLearn.

Writing:
Complete your introduction which is your first paragraph with 3 to 4 sentences.

Popcorn for 50 cent a bag!

Make sure your child gets rest and bring to class a healthy snack.Day two on NWEA testing on Math.
Study your math facts for 10 minutes daily.

Science:
Energy lesson which they also have activities online on brain popto work on. They should watch the video each day and do anactivity.

Reading:
Your child should read for 30 minutes on a daily basis.

Social Studies:
Your child should go on Moby Max Social Studies for 10 minuteseach day.

Writing:
Students wrote words that describe them and worked on it in classon the final template.

Spelling:

Your child should have 3 assignments done on iLearn, so check it out with your child. Make sure they practice on a daily basis.

Open House is on September 13 from 6 to 7:30!
