Khan Academy for lessons 8-12 (the lessons are not numbered but you have for the week to work on) Please do not feel you have to stay all day on the computer to get it done on one day

Reading:
Technology’s Impact on Society, pages 16-19 “Poems of the Industrial Age” from your benchmark book.
Read “Skyscraper” and underline main ideas and circle key details that support the main ideas.
During independent time, write what the poem “Skyscraper” has to do with technology affecting our lives.
Read for 30 minutes and record yourself reflecting on what you read on classdojo. Not many recorded their reflecction of what they read.. Your reflection should not exceed 1 minute

Monday:
Compare and contrast a Red Wings Hockey player and Detroit Pistons Basket player. You may pick any to current players. Today I want you to draw a Venn Diagram and give 3 for each section of the Venn diagram which totals 9 facts. Take a picture of the Venn diagram.
Tuesday:
Write your rough draft…. Send a picture of it on google classroom.
