Wednesday Activities

Reminder: I LIKE Google Hangouts!

Please join us for our Ancillary Google Hangout today at 2:15! As a reminder, we will email and/or text you a link to join the video call on the day of the scheduled meeting.

Please send us a photo of your child engaged in an indoor activity such as playing with a toy, playing a game or reading a book. We will include it in our slide show and talk about it during show-and-tell. You can send photos to my email at huntd@dearbornschools.org or text/email them to your child’s classroom teacher. We appreciate everyone’s participation!

Monday Activities

Happy Monday Everyone!! I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend! Try to start the school day by joining Mrs. Melissa for the Daily Morning Meeting.

Enjoy Story Time with Ms. Dawn This week we are focusing on the word “You” from our Core Vocabulary! Today’s story allows us to practice using the the core vocab word “You” multiple times.

It’s Fun-day Monday so have some fun with the Physical Education activity. I know today is a rainy day so outside activities are not likely. Try being active with this Dance and Freeze Song! The goal is to keep moving until the song says Freeze!

Monday is also Art Day! Try working on coloring the Letter “X” worksheet from this weeks work Packet. If your really feeling Creative you can make a Thank You Card for our Health Care workers! Below is some ideas or print outs you can use. If you make a card let me know and I can make arrangements to get them to a healthcare worker.

Friday Activities

Happy Friday Everyone! Start the day with Mrs. Melissa for the Daily Morning Meeting.

On Fridays we do our letter work! Join Mrs. Melissa for a Mini Lesson on the letter W. Listen to the lesson and then complete the letter W activities from your work packets. Make sure to share a picture of your work in the comments section below!

Fridays are our Art days! Today I want you to try and make a thank you card for our health care workers. All the hospital workers, such as the doctors, nurse’s, cleaning crew, and chefs, have been working countless hours to aid in our safety. If you get a chance to make a card let me know and I will make sure to get it in the right hands! Attached below is a link to print out a thank you card or you can make one with your own materials from home. I also provided some crafty ideas if you want to make one!
