
November 29th Weekly Newsletter
Happy Friday everyone! What a fun and active week we had. Our letter focus of the week was letter I. We explored all the things that start with the letter I, practiced letter I words, and worked our hands hard with different handwriting activities. The story of the week was Sneezy The Snowman. This brightly illustrated story talked all about the cold and how to stay warm, but also have fun in the cold snowy weather! Our Math focus for the month is identifying which group of objects is greater than , less than, or equal to . The kids are practicing their counting skills as they identify which number the gator want to eat! Our Social studies article was all about celebrating the holidays and ways we can celebrate. With some surprisingly warm weather we also had some time to explore outside in the court yard. We kicked and threw around a ball, but also ran around and played tag. The Week Ahead
With a short last week we will continue to focus on Letter I! We will be exploring all things letter I with handwriting, matching, and reading activities. Happy Monday everyone! Last week was a short week, our letter focus of the week was letter I. We explored all the things that start with the letter I, practiced letter I words, and worked our hands hard with different handwriting activities. The story of the week was The Old Lady Who Swallowed a Turkey. This goofy and fun story talked lots about different thanksgiving float items such as a Turkey, Balloon, and Wheels! Our Math focus for the month is identifying which group of objects is greater than , less than, or equal to . The kids are practicing their counting skills as they identify which number the gator want to eat! Our Social studies article was all about the thanksgiving day parade and why we celebrate Thanksgiving. Enjoy all the pictures from our learning and exploring this past week.

October 25th Weekly Newsletter
What a week of fun we had! We explored lots of Halloween themed things this whole month, but more this week! This week our letter focus of the week was letter E. We practiced letter E words, and worked our hands hard with different handwriting activities. This weeks story was The Old Lady Who Swallowed A Bat. This kids enjoyed all the silly Halloween things the old lady ate in the story! At the end we had some fun yelling TRICK OR TREAT! Our Math focus for the month is pairing each object with one and only one number. The kids are practicing their counting skills as they match Halloween themed objects with 1 and only 1 number! Our Social studies article was all about Animals that sleep at night and the 175th Anniversary of the Smithsonian. Enjoy the few pictures I have from this week! I’m so sorry if I didn’t get any pictures of your child in the costume! We have many busy bodies that love to explore and it can be challenging to get pictures sometimes.

Our story for the week is the Little Old Lady Who Swallowed A Bat! Its a fun silly story that will help us different Halloween themed items. Math, we will continue to work on pairing each object with one and only one number. The kids are practicing their counting skills as the match Halloween themed objects with 1 and only 1 number! Our Social studies articles this week is all about Who Is Awake at Night. Our News2You article for this week is about the Smithsonian’s 175th Anniversary. On Friday we will be Trick or Treating and having a fun Day celebrating for Halloween Weekend!
