Also you could work on identifying body parts for our science lesson this week. Start by listening to the video below and then see if you can label the body parts of the pictured boy below!

Starting Tuesday, September 8th we will have daily virtual sessions at 10 AM through Zoom. Links for our daily meetings, should be in your personal email, along with in our new virtual classroom platform called Schoology. If you did not receive an emailed link please let me know so I can make sure you have that for Tuesday! Starting today you will get access to your child’s Schoology account which will need to be logged into daily for attendance purposes. All daily activities and lessons will also be posted in Schoology and the blog for you convince. The virtual lessons will pair with the work packets that should be delivered by the end of this week. If you have not received the work packets by tomorrow please let me know, so I can get you the information.

Starting today, Students can log in to Schoology using their school Google Accounts, provided by the district. Student emails are: student 9 digit ID number@dearbornschools.org with the password being your child birthday (MMDDYYY). Within Schoology, students will find the daily virtual links, and instructions that they need daily. If you need student ID numbers please let me know through email or by phone and I will make sure to share and assist you with the process. Also, attached below is a video tutorial explaining the login process.

Happy Thursday friends. Congratulations on a great first week of school! Friday and Monday are days off in observance for Labor Day. I hope everyone enjoyed the first week. I have definitely enjoyed seeing some pictures throughout this past week, especially all the findings from the scavenger hunt.

Today’s assignment is to watch the video below for our calendar work, story, and activity!

Our virtual meetings start next week Tuesday at 10 AM, links will be emailed out today, and I will set a reminder to be sent out Tuesday morning. If you do not receive an email with a link by the end of the school day, please reach out to me so I can make sure to have it to you before Tuesday!

Also, starting Tuesday you and your child will have access to our online virtual classroom program called Schoology. This platform will be used for attendance purposes, along with information pertaining to our daily activities. Keep an eye out for a post later today, with more direct instructions and tutorials on how to access the program.

Hello everyone, happy Tuesday and second day of school!! I really enjoyed connecting with each of you yesterday, and can’t wait to see everyone in our virtual sessions starting next week. In preparation for next weeks virtual lessons, I will be preparing paper materials which will be delivered to your house by the end of this week. The paper materials will align with the lessons provided during our virtual lessons. Everyday I will hold a 30-45 minute, whole group virtual session where we complete our daily calendar work, talk about our schedule for the day, and have educational lessons relating to our Math, and Reading curriculum. In addition to daily whole group sessions, students will be scheduled to attend individual virtual sessions, where we will work on individual IEP goals. Schedules for this will come towards the end of this week!
