Virtual Math Activity

Complete your day of learning with a quick Science activity about Pushes and Pulls! First watch the video, then lastly practice pushing and pulling different objects. You could push or pull with a toy car, or push and pull with a ball. As your playing talk about what’s happening when you are pushing or pulling. The object goes away when you push, but when you pull the objects gets closer to you.

Hello Everyone! I hope you all have enjoyed this wonderfully sunny and warm weekend. I know I sure soaked up every last bit of sun that I could!

I wanted to give you a week ahead update, as we transition back to 100% virtual learning from home. Starting Monday we will have live daily meetings at 10 AM. The daily live link will be posted on this classroom blog along with the classroom Schoology page, first thing every day! I have also shared them through your personal emails.

Along with our daily live meetings, their will also be daily activities (that go along with the weekly work packets being sent home), and pre-recorded videos posted daily on this classroom Blog and Schoology page, to aid in learning at home! If you have any questions, concerns, or comments please let me know by phone or email. (roskelm@dearbornschools.org)

Thank you to all of the parents for the support and understanding while transiting back to full virtual learning at home. This past month and a half of face 2 face learning was so special and awesome! I am so happy the kids and I got that time together this year. I look forward to the day when we can return to in person learning, but will settle for our daily Live meetings at 10 am 🙂

Starting Monday, November 9th all face to face Learning Labs will be suspended, with no expected return date. 

This decision was made by the district after receiving information from the Wayne County Health Department. The Health Department reported the Wayne County Covid positivity rate is 8% as of 11/3/20.  A rising infection rate among the Dearborn community, and some school infection cases as a result of community spread. 

The District Committee for Learning Labs will look at the weekly data reports, and parents will be notified when face to face learning can continue again! 

Starting Monday we will return to our daily virtual meetings at 10:00 AM, along with daily Asynchronous learning in th PM via work packets and activities posted on the iBlog/Schoology. The daily meeting link, and reminders will be sent to your emails/phones via text very soon!
