Virtual Calendar

Our monthly focus for reading, is identifying the main idea of a familiar story. Today’s reading activity is to read the “Lets Find Out” scholastic news article, and complete the activity that goes with it. This weeks article is about needs, and wants. You can follow along with me in the video below, or complete virtually by following the directions below the video.

Once logged in, scroll down to Nov/Dec issues, and click on the article labeled “Holiday Needs and Wants”  Watch the videos, read the article, complete the assessment questions after article, and play the virtual game for some rewarded fun.

Complete your day of learning with a quick Social Studies activity about the past, present, and future! First watch the video below, then talk about ways things may be different in the future. For some this years Holiday celebrations will be different. For many the season of winter will be different, especially as we continue learning from home, along with virtual learning!
