Problem Solving Tech Troubles

  1. In order to access the Storyline Online Summary form you must be in Google Classroom. The links provided on my blog are just samples to view. To type, you must select the assignment on Google Classroom and that one will let you type in your own responses.
  2. To view the Readworks assignments, you must also use the forms in Google Classroom. If you click the link on Google Classroom, it will take you directly where you want to go. If you are still having trouble, remember, you must be logged into the student’s google account or it will not work. To do this click on the icon on the top right corner and make sure you see your students’ account information.

A peek at our first week of online learning

Good afternoon Haigh families. I hope each and everyone of you are doing well as we navigate through this unfamiliar time. These next few weeks away from the classroom may feel a little strange, but I am hopeful that with the extra precautions put into place we will be back in school happy and healthy come April. In the meantime, I would like to extend my hand in helping provide a regular learning routine in your home. I will post each Sunday or Monday a list of assignments to ensure your child is continuing to grow academically. Students will do a majority of their work on Google Classroom (please refer to my previous post for a how to list).

Please keep reading for the list of assignments for the week of 3-16-2020:

Survey

Dear families,

Haigh is excited to collaborate with Wayne State University to begin our D-SHINES program this spring. D-SHINES will convert part of the large field behind our school into a full garden, complete with massive garden beds, shed, picnic tables and benches for an outdoor classroom. The focus of this program is to promote healthy lifestyle choices, proper nutrition and the importance of physical activity.

Before we begin this program, the D-SHINES program coordinator from WSU would like to collect information from our families to develop a program that is best suited for our students and our families. The survey takes approximately six minutes. Please take the time to complete this survey (only one survey per family is needed).

Thanks so much for your help and support as we begin this awesome program!

P.E. Club

Dear Haigh students and families,
Thank you everyone that applied for student participation in our Haigh PE Club. The amount of interest in club has been incredible! Unfortunately, we were only able to select 25 students in grades K-2 and 25 students from grades 3-5. All students that were selected for this club have been notified. On Friday, students that were selected for this club were given acceptance notes. If your child was not one of those selected, don’t worry! Any students not selected have been added to a waiting list and will be contacted as spaces become available.
Thank you again for all of your support,
Mrs. LozonPE Club Teacher
