Students in Ms. Aun’s class and Mrs. Nickles’ class tested their catapults today. The winning group launched their marshmallow more than 37 feet!

First graders learned about the importance of recycling.  Today, we used some of our old crayons to make new ones.

3rd graders worked in groups to create a device (a catapult) to make their marshmallow travel across a distance.

Today, students created a plan and tested different building designs.  Next week, teams will finalize their designs and measure how far their marshmallow traveled.

2nd graders are masters at graphing! Today, students created bar graphs using cereal.  Students then analyzed their graphs.

Today, 5th grade students had fun exploring the food web through owl pellet dissection.

We wrapped up our kindergarten unit on living and non living this past Friday.  Kindergarten students participated in a compare/contrast activity using gummy worms and real worms.

It was a very exciting day!

Yesterday, 3/14, was Pi Day! Today, 5th graders took the Pi Day Challenge – measuring different sized circles and trying to get as close to Pi!
