April Wrap-Up

April has been a busy yet fun month in Enrichment! We are learning many new math and science concepts, but most importantly we are becoming scientists and mathematicians.

Here’s what we’ve been learning this week:

4th grade classes changed a simple demonstration in to a science experiment by adding a new variable—which soda has a better reaction with Mentos candy?1st grade had mini math workshop! We practiced our addition skills playing Math Jenga!
2nd grade students explored the concept of area. We are in the process of making Area Robots.  Check back next week for the finished product!
