March 25 Updates

Good morning!

Biology – Continue working on the assignments for the week.

Forensics – I hope you enjoyed a little break from the work yesterday. Today you will be going outside to do some measurements of one of your cars. You’ll be measuring the track width (Middle of left tire to middle of right tire), tire width (how wide is the individual tire), and wheel base (middle of front tire to middle of back tire) of one of your cars, as well as looking for any unusual tire features.

It is suppose to be very nice the next 3 days so it would be good to get out and get some fresh air during this shelter in place the governor has put forth. You are going to need a measuring device of some sort. Some things you can use:

1) Measuring tape

2) Long string and a ruler

3) Yarn and a ruler

4) Anything else you can think of that you would be able to use.

Somebody in your house should have a ruler or measuring device that you can borrow for this lab. If not, please email me and we’ll try to think of something together. If you can’t print out the data table, I’d suggest that you copy the data table down on a separate sheet and then upload that data table to iLearn. Don’t forget to complete the post lab questions, too!

Email or text me on Remind if you have questions!
