About Coach Duda

Hello! My name is Mr. Duda. I have been teaching within the Dearborn Public School District since 2016.

Michigan State University football Coach Mark Dantonio at Dearborn High School, 2020.

As a product of Dearborn, I am a 2005 graduate of Edsel Ford High School. I attended Eastern Michigan University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Health. I also attended Wayne State University where I obtained my Masters in Sports Administration.

During my decade of tenure as a varsity football coach, I have had many successes both on and off the field. In my role as Varsity Defensive Coordinator at Dearborn High School, we qualified for the Division 1 playoffs several years (2018, 2016, 2014), and won our conference (2016, 2015). In 2016, we finished with a Top 10 State Ranking in Division 1. As Varsity Defensive Line Coach at Truman High School, we qualified for the Division 2 playoffs (2013, 2012), and won the Downriver League Championship (2012). In 2012, we finished with a Top 10 State Ranking in Division 2. I am a huge advocate of helping my student-athletes achieve athletic and academic scholarships. In my 10 years of coaching, 16 of my student-athletes have gone on to achieve athletic scholarships at Division 1 or Division 2 college programs.

In my free time, I enjoy fishing, boating, traveling, camping, working out, and hanging out with family and friends.
