Homework:  Review the social studies notes / quiz on Monday to answer the following question:  Choose two colonial regions to compare and contrast: New England, Middle colonies, and Southern  in 3 categories.  The students have a study guide sheet.

Read the article “Government in the Colonies” and answer the questions

We are wrapping up our NWEA test next week and start preparation for WIDA testing!

I am giving the students the end of the months reward on Monday.  Many students are excluded due to making wrong choices.  Students whom participating, may bring electronics to school.

  4. Math NWEA starts tomorrow.  Please rest and have a good breakfast to be ready for the test

I-READY diagnostic test is complete.  Next week, we shall continue NWEA in addition to DRA testing.  Please log on ZEARN and I-READY daily for 20 minutes.

Look for the the lunar eclipse taking place on Sunday evening (Jan. 20th) (Moon starts to enter Earth’s shadow=10:34 pm, Moon starts to turn reddish-orange = 11:41 pm, Moon starts to leave Earth’s shadow = 12:44 am)

We started today our NWEA science test.  I-READY Diagnostic test is in progress for some students as well

Science:  Read pages 21-24.  Be prepared to answer the following questions:  What causes liquid to evaporate?  What happens to water in the air?

Vocabulary:  Make a Frayer Model for 2 vocabularies from the spelling list.

Sleep early, have a good breakfast, and come ready to do your best on your tests!
