Homework and Announcements for the week:

Canned Food Drive: We won the second Pizza Party. Tomorrow we will have pizza for lunch! Overall we collected 306 canned food items. Thank you to all the families who participated in the Canned Food Drive.

Math: This week we will continue learning division. Homework tonight and homework check tomorrow!

**Thanksgiving Homework: I will be giving a Division Packet for students to complete over the 5 day break. THIS IS OPTIONAL! If students do turn it in, I will give them 10 dojo points. The purpose of this packet is to keep students engaged with division over break, so when they come back from break, they are ready to get back into learning. We will be taking the End Module by the second week in December.**

Spelling: No spelling due to the short week!

Reading: 20 minutes reading a book or Raz Kids at home. This website allows students to read stories and answer questions about that story. It helps students with reading comprehension! The next Reading Log will be due tomorrow!

Here are the homework answers from this week’s homework. There is optional homework assignment on pg 224 #3 a-L in the in Succeed Books. This assignment is not graded, just for practice. The quiz will include 6 factor/ prime and composite numbers problems, 3 multiple problems and 3 division problems. The quiz is worth 15 points.

Canned Food Drive: We are currently at 219 cans! We need 71 more cans to meet our goal! The Battle Against Hunger Canned Food Drive starts TODAY and goes to Friday, November 22nd. We have 5 days to meet our goal! Remember if we meet our goal, I will give our class at Pizza Party on November 26th.

Math: This week we will be learning division. Homework every night and please bring Succeed Books on Friday!

**Students will need to know their multiplication facts. This week students will bring home multiplication cards to study during the week. They will take a Fact Fluency Test on Friday. We are on 5’s Multiplication Facts. Bring bags back every Monday!**

WE WON THE HYPE CANNED FOOD COMPETITION! We will have a pizza party next Wednesday, November 20th during our lunch!

 We are currently at 216 cans! We need 74 more cans to meet our goal! The Battle Against Hunger Canned Food Drive starts on Monday, November 18th and goes to Friday, November 22nd. We have one more week meet our goal! Remember if we meet our goal, I will give our class at Pizza Party on November 26th.

Conferences: For parents, who I did not have a conference with, there is a conference reminder slip coming home today. Please review your time and date, then sign and return on Monday!

Book Fair: Book Fair is next week! We have our Preview Visit on Monday from 2:00 to 2:25! Students can bring money to purchase books and fun reading supplies during this time! Also, you can visit the book fair while you wait for your conference.
