Homework and Announcements for the week:

Happy Last School Week of 2019 Room 6 Families!

** Attention Parents! I will be gone from Friday, December 13th to Monday, January 6th, when we come back from break. I will be undergoing foot surgery and recovering during this time. Mrs. Niner, who is a retired teacher from Haigh, will be subbing for me during this time. Please feel free to message me on Dojo or email me, though, if you need anything during those days. Math: Reviewing all skills learned in the past 5 months, rounding, addition, subtraction, multiplcation, and division.

Reading: 20 minutes reading a book or Raz Kids at home. This website allows students to read stories and answer questions about that story. It helps students with reading comprehension! Also, you can do iReady through Clever.

Holiday Party Tomorrow

The Holiday Party is tomorrow!

Can parents come? Yes, all parents can come help out, please be ready to run a station and help students with the crafts.

What to wear: Pajama Day! or any Holiday wear!

Lunch: Do not pack a lunch, because we will be having a pizza lunch!

Time: The party will start around 10:35 a.m. and end at 11:45 a.m. We will have lunch starting around 11:45 a.m.

Activities: We will be playing bingo, making picture frames, playing snowball basketball, decorating cookies, and eating snacks. We will end with teams of students wrapping each other like a present.

Happy December Room 6 Families! There is a lot going on for the next 2 weeks before Winter Break. Please make sure to read the blog and classroom dojo for all the latest news.

Field Trip Tomorrow

Field Trip TOMORROW!

Lunch: Please pack a paper bag or zip lock bag lunch with your child’s name, and teacher’s name on it (Student Name, Miss Vuichard)

We will be leaving school around 9:30 a.m. and we will be back at school 2:30 p.m.

*Chaperones* There is a note coming home today, giving you this information and who is going to be in you group. Thank you for chaperoning! We are going to The Henry Ford Museum, located at 20900 Oakwood Boulevard, Dearborn, MI 48124. We are going to see the exhibits especially The Towers of Tomorrow with Lego Bricks. This is located at The Gallery by General Motors in the Museum. If you are driving your student, please come to the office around 9:30 a.m.. We will leave by 9:30 to  get to the Museum around 10:00 am. You have the freedom to explore with your group during the time we are there. Our 4th grade is planning to have lunch around 12:00 pm in the cafeteria. We are leaving around 2:00 p.m. You can go to the gift shop if students have money.

Gift Shop Money: Students can bring money for the gift shop. To ensure that you student does not lose their money, please put it in a bag with their name of it.

Holiday Party Information and Donation Sign Up

Hello Room 6 Families! 2019 is quickly ending with 3 weeks lefts before Winter Break.

I would like to have a Holiday Party to celebrate our accomplishments that we have had so far and to celebrate the holidays in our classroom. The party will be next Thursday, December 12th. The party will start around 10:35 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m.. We will be playing bingo, making picture frames, playing snowball basketball, decorating cookies, and eating snacks. We will end with teams of students wrapping each other like a present. It should be fun! Also, we are planning on having a pizza lunch that day.

Field Trip: We will be going to The Henry Ford on Friday. Please pack a paper bagged or plastic bagged lunch with your child’s name on it, school’s name and teacher’s name on it. For example, Jimmy John, Haigh, Vuichard. We will be coming back around 2 p.m.

Math: This week we will continue learning division and learning double digit multiplication. We will have homework everyday this week. Our next big test is the End of Module test and it will be on Wednesday, December 11th.
