** The first meeting has changed FYI!

Our tentative Homeroom Parent Mtg that was planned for Friday the 13th, will be postponed until next week to allow for our staff to obtain their parent volunteers and for the tentative homeroom parents to plan for the meeting.  I will send out an email directly to each parent as well as the staff about the date for next week.  We want everyone to be able to attend the meeting and allow our staff to fill their spots.  Thank you so much for your understanding.  Danielle Lewis, Mother V.P.

– Ms. Miles

We had a great first day back! It flew by!! Since tomorrow is going to be a full day, please make sure your child is prepared for the whole day of school.

If there is a change in how you want your child to go home, please update me. For example, they are being picked up by someone else, they are not taking the bus anymore, or they have to wait for you in a certain area because of siblings.

Thank you!!

I hope everyone had a great summer! I am so excited to meet each of you on Monday, August 26th!! 🙂

Our Leader in Me theme this year is “Be a Leader and color your future” and 4th grade’s color is blue. You can find 4th grade teachers wearing blue shirts on the first day! I am looking forward to a year full of fun and learning!!

Parents, I post on this blog quite often- so please check weekly to stay informed and make sure you subscribe! I am also using Remind this year as a tool to communicate ( a note on how to join the Remind will be sent home on Monday with your child). Also, your child will be bringing home many other important notes this week, many will have to be signed and returned. I will make sure to put a copy of the notes on the blog in case they get misplaced!

I wanted to share a couple more important bits of information with you before the first day:
