Happy Friday! I have some important updates and information below:
Grading: If you did not get a chance yet to look at report cards for last quarter, the steps are online on the Lindbergh page! https://lindbergh.dearbornschools.org/
-Teachers are grading and putting assignments into the gradebook. There will be a 4th report card. Instead of 1,2,3,4 we will be grading with the codes M (meeting),P,(progressing)LP (limited participation).
-So it is very important that your child is participating as much as they can during this online learning time! I have another tool to share you with as a parent to help you keep track! I am going to invite all of you to be “Google Classroom Guardians” today. The invitation will be sent to your email. You can choose to accept or decline. If you accept- you can get daily or weekly (your choice) summaries on what your child has completed on Google Classroom and feedback. It is on one good tool to keep track! -Lastly, I will be sending home a weekly progress report today if you child has any missing work from this week! If they do not, I will not send anything. If you would like a progress report and do not get one today- please let me know!
**Update: There will also be no Google Hangout today with students. There is a district-wide issue and student access has been frozen until it is resolved!**
Here is a look at today:
Spelling
-No new assignments- just make sure to get the spell check lesson in!
Writing
-Continue to work on the opinion writing graphic organizer to fill out your reasons and details on what side you picked! This is due Monday (we are continuing to work on this writing all next week)
Math
-We will be doing a new lesson in math today Module 5 Lesson 8. It is really a continuation of Lesson 7.
Assignment:
1. Optional: Watch the Eureka math video while trying the homework and check the answer using the answer key.

I will also be posting one math question today that I would like students to respond to, I would just like to check for understanding. Students will just private message me the answer.
Reading
-Normally, we would be discussing this on Google Meets, but since we are not going to be able to use Google Meets today- I will be posting a critical response question on Wonder that I would like students to answer. This will be due Sunday.
Social Studies
-No new assignments. Make sure to turn in your scarcity chart today!
