Here is a look at our week:

ELA/Writing: In writing, we are creating our introduction and conclusions for our informational writing about Koalas and Frogs. Students will be comparing a paired texted of their own and writing their own informational essay. In ELA, we are learning about the difference between firsthand accounts and secondhand accounts.
* NWEA testing and DRA testing is complete. Reading groups will resume back to the normal schedule. Some students may be moving to a different reading group starting on Monday.

Math: We learning lessons 27-32 this week. There are some lessons that will be combined together to keep a look out for what homework we are on! We are focusing on dividing numbers in the 100 and 1,000 places.

Science/ Social Studies: In science, we are starting our last mystery in sound. We have learned about how sound makes vibrations and how sound cannot travel through space. This week, we will be looking about pitch, volume, and sound waves. In social studies, we are learning about the government. We will be looking at different roles for the national, state, and local levels. We will also be discussing the three branches of government.
