We are at the tail end of NWEA testing and DRA reading tests! Students have been working very hard- I will be sure to send results once we are all done!
Here is a look at our week:
ELA/Writing: In ELA, we are going to be looking at writing from different points of view. We will be discussing first hand experiences versus second hand experiences. In writing, we are working to write a compare and contrast essay using Koalas and Frogs. We are doing this together as a class and then students will be choosing their own animals to compare and contrast.

Math: This week is very vocabulary focused in math. We will be using words like multiples, factors, prime numbers, and composite. Our goal is to do math lessons 24-27 this week.
Science/ Social Studies: In science, we are discussing how sound travels and if it can travel through space. We will be taking a science quiz by the end of the week. The quiz will be based on the videos and activities we are doing in school. In social studies, we are continuing to learn about the government. We will be focusing on the Preamble, the Constitution, and the type of government we have.

We will be taking our NWEA language test this Tuesday and finishing up any other NWEA tests still going on!
