Michigan is currently 3rd in the nation and one of only 6 states with a response rate over 50%. Our state’s goal is 82%, so we are still 32% away. You can help! But what can I do you ask? See below:

Saturday April 11th: Write a LTE to your local newspaper
Sunday, April 12th: Call or email your neighbors/neighborhood association
Monday, April 13th: Join a virtual townhall – today – 4pm – Jackson visit www.facebook.com/micensus
Tuesday, April 14th: Post on social media that you completed the census form, challenge 10 friends (and tag them) on social media platforms.
Wednesday, April 15th: Bring those federal tax dollars back to support our communities. Volunteer for a virtual phone bank sign up
Why do we care about reporting to the Census?
- It’s the law!
- It provides our community, city, schools and county federal funding, based on representation. It’s critical we have everyone counted!
