Students have only one piece of homework from Mr. Melvin this break. they need to visit vocabulary.com (sign in with Google) and master 6 of the words on the pre- and post- list. If students would like, they can work on an 8.5″ x 11″ poster for pre- or post- to win a ‘no-homework pass.’

Additionally, we will be taking the NWEA Language Test when we return on January 6th. If students would like to practice their skills, one good way is by trying these games.

If students are more than two grade levels behind in reading, they have been given an additional 2 page packet to complete, as part of their academic contract. If a student brings up his score in January, he will no longer receive the supplemental work.
