What we did today! Letter S, Book Buddies, Pushes and Pulls!

Posted on

Hello Families!!!

Today was a very busy but great day! Busy can be fun, right? πŸ™‚ Anyhow, we had a fantastic literacy time learning about the letter S as well as rhyming words! We also went to the library today! I love the excitement the children have about books!! That makes my heart so happy! In the afternoon we met in the gym with our book buddies to read! This was fun! And….we talked about the forces push and pull. We observed a ball. We noticed it did not move until a force interacted with it. We identified this force as a push. We pushed and rolled the ball back and forth to our friends as we not only practiced this scientific concept but also the social skill of taking turns! And….. we practiced sharing our opinion about the color apple we like the best. We created a model of the apple using tear art! Check these out in our classroom!

Here are some adorable pictures!

We practiced taking turns as we learned about the force of pushing on a ball.
