Tomorrow begins the Pennies for Pasta collection. The money collected goes to help children who are sick. The classroom that collects the most money wins a pasta party from Olive Garden! Your children brought home boxe in their folders to collect the money in.

Wednesday, is Parent Teacher Conferences for only families who have an invitation. These invitations will go home tomorrow. If you have questions, please see me.

Tomorrow also begins the last card marking of Y5! I cannot believe how FAST the year is flying by!

We will be learning about addition and subtraction, more ways to decode words in books, more sight words, using words and sounds to write express our ideas through writing, as well as living things and ecosystems, and more ways to problem solve and work together peacefully and fairly in a group. SO…. let the learning continue as we proceed to the finish line! πŸ™‚

I am collecting empty egg cartons! PLEASE spread the word and pass this on. I would like to have them by Monday of next week!

Also, if you would like to donate any small items that are not candy to fit inside of plastic eggs that would be appreciated. We will have an egg hunt next Thursday, April 18th at 1:00-1:20… This is the same day as the 2nd and 4th grade Spring Concert!!!

Also, remember, your child was given a challenge over Spring Break! It was to learn their phone number and address. Officer Aaron will be visiting this week to see who met his challenge!!!

PLEASE be sure to send a jacket AND a HEALTHY snack to school with your EVERYDAY! Thanks!!

Check your child’s back pack for the permission slip to our next field trip that will take place April 24th to the Real Life Farm. I am hoping that each child has one adult family member with them for this trip. It will be such a super fun day!
