Thankful Thursday in Young 5s

Hello Families!

I am so thankful for the amazing work the children did yesterday on the NWEA. I downloaded the report from the NWEA results and was not surprised at the incredible results that I saw! EVERYONE did such a great job, super stars! What are you thankful for today?

Take a look at some at the super work we did today!

In addition to what you see below, we also compared characters from Mo Willems, Knuffle Bunny. We compared dad and Trixie.

We followed a writing rubric that was sent to the families and modeled to write a sentence to answer a question about a story.
We wrote using our new sight word, it.
We practiced word by word matching while reading a Benchmark story on the laptop.
We wrote using finger spaces and a period.
We reviewed the letter Nn and went on a letter Nn hunt!
We reviewed 2D and 3D shapes and the difference between them.
