Happy Friday with Green Eggs and Jam!

Hello Families!

We had a fun Friday! Today the children listened to Mr. Abu-Rus and I read aloud, “Green Eggs and Ham” by Dr. Seuss! He read the part of the character that would not eat the green eggs and I read the part of Sam I Am. The children helped with the parts of the the story they knew. They are getting so great at rhyming words!!! Then, Ms. Logel visited and shared the pictures she took from her trip to Africa. The children loved each one! They asked many questions! Thank you, Ms. Logel and Mr. Abu-Rus for sharing your day with us!

In the afternoon, we enjoyed a tasty snack of green eggs and jam!!! 🙂 This is a fun way to end our week together. only two of my students did not like the green eggs! The rest of us did!

The children brought home a new Minion reading log today. Please continue to read with them and record the title of the book and the minutes read for each one. Thank you!

I hope you all have a great weekend! Enjoy the pictures from our fun day together!

Thanks for all you do!
