Social Studies:  We will continue a unit called “Who am I?”. We will continue to talk about ways we measure time in terms of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. We will also talk about ways we can learn about the past. We are also working with a program called Second Step. This program helps us learn about rules, social skills, and how to handle our emotions. We have been focusing on what to do when we have a strong feeling. We practiced identifying the feeling, talking about it, and taking belly breaths.

Writing: We will practice narrative writing as we focus on telling a narrative with a beginning, middle, and end. We will also review the features of narrative writing. Please encourage storytelling with writing and drawing at home!

Homework Everyday:

  • Count to 100 by 1’s and 10’s. Write numbers 1-10.
