Hello Families!

Tonight your children brought home a paper with a hedgehog and a baggie of pictures that they cut. These are to help them build comprehension as they retell the story using the pictures. This is a reading strategy we have been working on.

Here is the story we have been reading.

Your child can put the pictures on hedgehog to retell the story. Then they can be the goat at the end and eat the items off of hedgehog’s back…leaving the one item behind! I hope I have you all intrigued by this story. LOL!

I apologize for blogging late, so please take this activity out of their reading bags/folders and practice tomorrow after school.
