Letter T Homework

Hello Families!

Today your child is bringing home a bag for the letter T. They need to put items that begin with the /t/ sound in this bag and be ready to share the items with the class tomorrow. I am looking forward to hearing and seeing what they bring for the letter T. (Pictures of things that begin with the letter T are fine too.)

We have been working our building our understanding of numbers 1-5. We are focusing on number 4! We practiced one to one correspondence when making quantities to represent 4.

We have also been practicing another choice for Daily 5 called Work on Writing! This is when your child gets to independently write about whatever they choose. They love this time! During this time I can work one on one or with a small group of students on a certain reading or writing skill.

The children are doing a super job in recognizing the letters in their names. Please continue working on this at home in addition to writing their first names!

Please remember to send a water bottle to school with your child’s name on it as well as a healthy snack to school each day.

Thank you for all you do!
