Hello Families!

Today we planted a spruce tree outside of our classroom window. This tree will serve as an earth-friendly reminder of all of the wonderful memories we have shared so far in kindergarten this year. If you live in the neighborhood, please take a walk by the school to visit our little spruce tree.

We have been studying the needs, uses, and parts of trees in science. We got to observe firsthand as we plated our little tree the needs of a tree. We also compared the little spruce tree to the big tree outside of our window. We had some great discussion!
