Hello Kindergarten Families! Happy 25th week of Kindergarten! Please help your child login to Clever to access MyOn. Here, they have so many online books to choose from for reading. Many of the books are read aloud to them as they follow along! This is a super awesome resource to get your child reading more books. We are having a contest to see which class has the most minutes spent at home on MyOn! Please help us be one of the winners!

Social Studies: We will review and test the children on the concepts from our unit “Where am I?” The children will be tested on position words, reading a map, understanding maps and globes, and describing places in their environment, as well as identifying needs that are provided by the earth.

Writing: This week we will review and practice opinion writing. We will write about our favorite animals this week. We will also write our opinions and provide two reasons why we like our animal. Please practice stretching for the sounds and using finger spaces between words with your child each day for homework. These writing skills are very important for moving into first grade.

Thank you for all you do!

 Have a wonderful evening!

Be safe driving if you need to go out! 🙂
