Please help us help the people in our community who are in need this season by bringing in canned goods! We will be collecting canned goods for the next two weeks! Our school goal is to collect 5, 000 cans! Our class goal is 100 cans!

Please be sure to check your child’s backpack everyday as well as empty out any old papers.

Please remember to put the items your child brings home in their reading bag back into the reading bag when you are done using them. The children are bringing home books and sight word cards to practice. Please help your child be responsible with these learning tools. The reading bag contains homework items for your child. Please work with these items for 20 minutes each day.

Writing: We will begin our first informational writing unit. This week the children will learn that informational writing is factual writing about a topic. In kindergarten, at this time of the year, we expect the children to use their drawing oral dictation to tell one fact about the topic we are writing about.
