Amazing start to Week 26!!

Hello Families!

We are having such a terrific week!!! I am so blessed to be your children’s teacher! My heart is so full of joy everytime I we walk into our classroom together!!!!

Take a look at some awesomeness that has been happening with us!

We used our magnetic letters to mix and fix the sight word have.

We used our playdough to make uppercase and lowercase Ww.

We made uppercase and lowercase Ww and danced to the letter Ww Heidi Song!

Mrs. Faraj zoomed in to read to us for March is Reading Month!!! (And, we got to got to see her adorable baby granddaughter!

Here are some Group B friends making the letter Ww with their playdough!

This friend made a whale because it starts with the sound of Ww.

We discussed how special we are after a read aloud. Then we drew our self portraits! We used the mirror and the ELMO projector to see our eye color, hair color ,and features to help us draw what we look like.

We brainstormed words that begin with Ww. But…..we were not to sure what a whale was! So…..we watched a short informational video about these gigantic creatures!

Mrs. Hansen brought Library check out to us!!! We got to borrow books! We also talked about how we take care of books as well as how to read the pictures in a book!

Group B also mixed and fixed the sight word have!

Mrs. Peterson came to visit us and read a story!!! We got to see a picture of her adorable granddaughter too!!!

We worked hard to make sure we added details to help our drawing look like we look!

I will see you tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday on Zoom!!!! There will be no in person school this week! Group A will come back on Monday and Group B will come back on Tuesday!
