- New School Schedule and Learning Labs
Tomorrow (Show parents Schoology)
Friday and Monday– Mid winter break
Tuesday 2/16- AM students are asynchronous (independently
the children are working on the computer with the activities
that I send on Schoology) and no school in
PM.
Wednesday 2/17- We are all on Zoom.
Thursday 2/18– We are on Zoom in the morning and Group A
Comes to Oakman for LL.
Friday 2/19- We are on Zoom in the morning and Group B
comes to LL.
Week of 2/22: All on Zoom in the morning
LL begin for half of group A Monday and Thursday at
1:55-2:40 and the other half of group A 3:00-3:45.
LL begin for half of group B Tuesdays and Fridayx at
1:55-2:40 and the other half of group B 3:00-3:45.
On Wednesday, we Zoom as usual until March 1.
*8:35 Zoom time start March 1 LL starts right after lunch till
2:20. We will start the Group A and Group B hybrid learning
schedule. The day your child comes to school, they will come at
9:40 and be picked up by 2:20. (STRICT pick up policy)
- Classroom Setup; Tables with chairs and mats with supply buckets
- What to bring to school; only coat, slippers, and water bottle
- What not to bring to school; do not bring a backpack or toys
- Pick up and drop off; Parents are not allowed in the building. I will bring the children to you and pick them up from the main doors (door 1)
- Zoom on Wednesdays for ALL. (All students stay home on Wednesdays)
- Valentine project; due on porches by 12 on Friday. Our goal is 160 Valentines for the kids in the hospital. If you are meeting me at Station 4 on Greenfield on Saturday 2/13, please know I will only be there 11:00-11:15. (Please do not include any candy or chocolate)
- Valentine and 100 day parties; we will wait til we are face to face during LL.
- New School rules and students being sick (parents will sign a contract stating they will not send their child to school showing any symptoms of sickness including runny nose.) I will send students home immediately if they are showing any signs of being sick. If you are one of your child’s siblings they are in close contact are sick, please consider keeping them home. The health and safety of ALL and our families are our number one priority.
- Supplies for donation; We had a donor give our class mats as well as another donor donate new crayons, scissors, and glue sticks! If you would like to donate we could also use gallon sized zip lock bags and dry erase markers.
- Lunch; Kids will eat lunch in the cafeteria. Lunch is provided
- Shoes for the classroom…..velcro shoes only!!! Please make putting shoes on to go to the bathroom an easy task for the children.
- PLEASE teach your child how to open their water bottles and how to zip up their coats all by themselves! I will have to maintain safe distance from all of them and they will have to maintain safe distance from me and the other children.
- For the safety of your children, remember, that your child needs to be picked up on time from Learning Labs. This is a must since I will be getting another group of children in the classroom. Thank you for your help with this!!!
