Take a look at some of the great things we did today!
We wrote and told about what makes us smile after listening to the Benchmark poem, “I Have Something in My Pocket”We decomposed the number 4 in 2 different ways as we told the story of the teddy bears leaving their picnic.We searched for items at home that begin the sound for the letter Oo.We practiced writing the letter Ee and evaluated which one was our best work by circling it.We are learning to decompose numbers less than 5.
We also stated our opinion about our favorite character from Curious George Goes to the Chocolate Factory by Margret and H.A. Reys. We even practiced identifying the setting! (The setting of this story is the chocolate factory.)
This friend’s favorite character was the Man with the Yellow Hat.
