We are off to a great start to the week!

Hello Families!

I hope you all know how very thankful I am for each one of you and your amazing children! I am so thankful to be a teacher! I love teaching young children and fostering a love for learning in their precious hearts!

We will have a parent meeting tomorrow on ZOOM at 3:30. It will only be a 20 minute meeting. I have a few things I want to talk about and a learning game to show you all!

Take a look at what we did today! Happy last day of November!

We wrote about what the living things in our poem ate! This friend said the bear ate honey!
We listened to a non-fiction text from Benchmark and practiced asking questions!
We practiced touching each word when we read the poem together.
We blended three sounds together to make words using elkonin boxes and the short vowel sound e.
We compared the height of items using the towers we built with our cubes.
We compared the length of our name trains! Hussain has the longest name train in our class today!

Thank you for all you do!!!

Please let me know if there is anything you and your families might need! We are here for each other! 🙂

Love, Ms. Mehrhof
