Hello Families!
Happy Wonderful Wednesday and Happy Earth Day!!! We live on such an incredible planet! We are blessed with so much to enjoy as well as beauty to experience all around us! Please take a moment to talk to your child about the importance of taking care of our planet; we can recycle, we can conserve energy and water, we can reduce the amount of garbage we have, we can also conserve energy by shutting off lights and electric appliances when they are not in use. There are many ways we can take care of our precious Earth!
Assignment #1
The goal of this lesson is for the children to identify and spell the sight word blue. The children are asked to write the word blue 5 times in 5 different colors.
Assignment #2
The goal of this lesson is for the children to use the sight word blue in the writing of their message. I asked the children to think about something that makes them think of Earth that is also the color the blue. Please help them to follow the directions presented in the video. Thank you!
Assignment #3
The goal of this lesson is for the children to answer questions from the informational text (presented from Benchmark). The text is about keeping Earth clean! They are asked to respond with a video of them answering the questions presented at the end of the lesson.
