I hope you all had a relaxing weekend! It is such a lovely day full of sunshine!
*Please remember:
- I need to have ALL students check in with the 5 assignments each day! These can be viewed and completed at your pace. I am keeping track of all assignments that are turned into me through Whatsapp. PLEASE stay connected to your Whatsapp.
- We will have a Google Meet tonight at 7PM to 7:30PM. The children will have fun getting to chat live with each other, myself, Mr. Abu-Rus, and our special area teachers. I will send the link to access the virtual meeting this afternoon.
Assignment #1
The goal of this lesson is for the children to identify the sight word (one). They will read it, write it 5 times in 5 different colors, and spell it.
Assignment #2
The goal of this lesson is for the children to write a message with the new sight word (one). They will follow the message writing directions in the video.
Assignment #3
The goal of this lesson is for the students to count the number of syllables for the picture words presented and use the sentence stem…”____has _____syllables.”
Here are two fun brain breaks!
AND……look!!! We have a surprise for the first day of Earth Day week!!!! (Earth Day is on Wednesday) I ordered a butterfly kit! The larvae (caterpillars) came too! We will learn about these magnificent creatures!
