We are Cookie Bakers!!!!

Hello Families!

Today was so much fun as we rolled cookie dough, used cookie cutters, and decorated our cookies!

Enjoy these adorable pictures of this special time!

We rolled sugar cookie dough!!!
We wore our Santa hats as we rolled out cookies…Santa’s favorite treat!
We used different cookie cutters to make shaped cookies!
We used so many sweet treats to decorate our yummy cookies!
While our cookies baked and cooled, we colored Christmas cookies!!
We used frosting and frosting and more frosting!!!
Christmastime in Young 5s is so so so much fun!!
We even got to eat one of our cookies!!
We loved creating our one of a kind cookies!!
We love working with our Young 5 friends!!
We each used our own rolling pin!
And….we used lots and lots and lots of flour!!!
We enjoyed choosing which cookie cutter to use!
We worked so hard on rolling our dough just right!
We were super excited to create our cut out cookies!
Lots of smiles and lots of joy was seen on our faces as we working on cookies!
We are officially cookie decorators!!

Tomorrow is Sporty Shirt/Jersey Day!!!

Wednesday is Crazy Wacky Hair and Sock Day!

Thursday is wear Red and Green Day!

Thursday is also a Young 5 Parent Meeting in our classroom at 2:30! Then, at 4:00 to 5:00 we will have our first Young 5 Family and Me Play Group Time in our classroom!!! Parents, please remember I will be providing hot tea for you to enjoy as you all visit with each other during our play group time! This is going to be such a great experience!

Friday is Pajama Day/or Christmas Sweater Day! (And our last day at school for 2019!! School will be closed until January 6th.)

If your child would like to buy a raffle ticket to help support an Oakman Fundraiser, please send in their dollar tomorrow. They will be put in a raffle to win one of many Christmas gifts!
