Hello Families!
Here are pictures from our awesome first March is Reading Month week. Just a reminder, everyday this month, your child is expected to spend at least 20 minutes reading or listening to reading. Starting on Monday, your child will be bringing home a paper for you to sign to verify that they are specing 20 minutes in a reading activity. I have been posting 20 minutes of listening to read alouds every night. These will count for their homework. We will keep track of these slips that are turned in with your signature to enter your child into a contest to win a prize. Please see me if you have any questions or concerns.
And….I really need pictures of your child reading no later than SUNDAY! I want to print them out and post them outside of the classroom for March is Reading Month!
Ok…here are the adorable pictures from this week! It has been a busy one!

We are studying goldfish! We drew a goldfish inside of a “bowl” to show what we think we know about goldfish.

We read books by Dr. Seuss all week! And…I hope you enjoyed all of the ones I shared for bedtime stories on the blog.

We made green eggs and jam after reading Dr. Seuss book, Green Eggs and Ham. Please encourage your child try a new food like the character in this book.
