Hello Families!
Here are some pictures that tell what about some of the great things we have been doing.
I have reassessed your children in counting and letter identification. You will soon be receiving an individualized progress report to tell you the results and what you can work on at home.

We are playing a math game called “I have… who else has?” We are matching numbers with their quantities.

Animal Magic came to our school? We learned about tarantulas. These creatures have their skeletons on the outside of their bodies!

We learned about snakes! This is a milk snake. It is not dangerous. But if a snake has red touching yellow… it is dangerous!

We are creating the habitat for our polar bear! We are using glitter and white paint to create the cold Arctic!

We are covering the black skin on our polar bear with white cotton balls! We learned that a polar bear has clear fur that appears white. Underneath the fur is a black skin to help keep the polar bear warm!

We loved dipping the cotton balls in the glue! We reused clean laundry detergent caps for glue cups!
We also were introduced to super e! Here is a video for Super E!
Here is a video to help your child review the short vowel sounds.
Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day! We have no school. Here is a video about the heroic work of Dr. Martin Luther King.
Thank you for all you do!
